I have not shot a lot of pictures but the changes in the A55 have made shooting exciting again. The features and options on this camera fit my abilities as a novice but produces images that look pro. I did a lot of research on this camera while I waited for the funds to become available to buy it, plus it was not released until Oct 2010. In those months I have read negative and positive reviews and still feel the good WAY outweighs the bad. Do some research to make sure this is the camera for you. I am using it as a step up to my next camera which will be professional.
